DON'T UNDERESTIMATE YOUR POTENTIAL

This is the first blog of MitchFreeland.com. I want to talk to you today about your potential.  John C. Maxwell said "...success comes as the result of growing to our potential."   We all have great untapped potential.  Why do we then come up so short to reach it?  One reason could be that our lives are rushed in the wrong direction—doing the wrong things—things that do not lead us in the true direction we want to go.  It is said that when you get heavy resistance in something you are doing, it is because you are on the wrong path.  It's said that if you are unhappy doing what you are doing, and you are getting heavy resistance, then God is telling you that you should not be doing this thing.  Many people have not yet discovered their purpose. When you find your true purpose, you will still get setbacks and resistance, but you will also get plenty of little victories to offset the defeats.  Find what you enjoy doing.  In time, the money will follow.  Do what interests you. The most successful people in the world will tell you, 'do what you love,' and be the best—success will follow you around the corner and catch-up to you. Don't live somebody else's dream. Your dream must be your dream. You must own your dream.  God gave you great potential—it was his gift to you.  Stretch yourself to limitless potential.  Here is how you grow to your maximum potential:
  1. Write down your mission
  2. Write down your major goal and focus on it daily
  3. Begin using mini goals daily to help achieve larger goals
  4. Concentrate on today and the future
  5. Leave the past where it belongs
  6. Ask yourself "How far can I go if my potential has no constraints?"  God knows the answer. And now so do you.
