When Should I Update My Goals?© 2017 M. Mitch Freeland
As you progress through life, your goals will change. The things you want and the value they carry may become more or less important to you. Your goals will change when your business, family, religious, and health ideas change. Your goals will change when:
Updating your goals is a task you should do regularly as your situation changes. Nothing about your goals is completely concrete. Change them when you feel your wants are not the same as before. Change them when you no longer believe it is in your best interest to pursue them. Not all of your goals will be reached in the time frame you have set; so, remember this poem, You Mustn’t Quit: You Mustn’t Quit When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest! If you must—but never quit. Life is queer, with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about When he might have won if he’d stuck it out; Stick to your task, though the pace seems slow- You may succeed with one more blow. Success is failure turned inside out- The silver tint of the clouds of doubt- And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems afar; So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit- It’s when things seem worst that YOU MUSTN’T QUIT. —Anonymous To learn more about setting and achieving your mini and major goals in life get your FREE copy of Mini Goals Huge Results at www.MitchFreeland.com
