Small Stakes No-Limit Hold'em: Focus On the Big Picture
© 2017 by M. Mitch Freeland Sometimes we become complacent because we tend to lose sight of the big picture. The big picture, the reason we do the things we do. The games we are in and the major goal we want to achieve is the big picture. By focusing on the big picture, you are concentrating on the end result and the end result could be anything that is important to you—it might be the benefits gained from completing a difficult project or securing your family with the financial resources to not worry about money for the remainder to your life. When you are playing cards not all hands will go smoothly. Unexpected problems rear their ugly heads. Frustrating situations will occur with players and the turn of a card, situations you now have little control over. When this happens, you have to think about the big picture.
