What Did God Do to Save Us from Death?
Because the world is wicked and all have sinned, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, The Messiah (Deliverer) for both Jews and Gentiles into the world as fresh, a man. For this purpose, Jesus (who was sinless) was the sacrifice for our transgression of the law (sins), by taking all of our sins (past, present and future sins), upon Himself so that we might be saved from the fires of Hell and a separation from God our Father in Heaven.  Because of God’s great love for us He has done this.  Jesus died on the cross by crucifixion. His last words on the cross were “It is finished.”  This means the atonement of your sins is done with.  Before Jesus was born of fresh He knew from the beginning of time what He would have to do. In John 1:1-5 we know this:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness comprehened it not.”  (Jesus is the Word)
